We had a parents' phonics seminar at Whampoa where we offered a seminar to parents on the secrets of our RWI programme. The educational seminar was delivered by our training and curriculum supervisor, Ian Broughton. At the same time kids were having a reading and arts and craft session with our teachers. They read the book Trolls and went on to make Troll face masks and played some games. Kids left with goodie bags and a big smile on their face.
In terms of sales, we managed to do about 30 assessments, which leads on to briefings, which then leads to enrolments!
All in all, a fantastic day for the kids, parents and the Whampoa Garden branch.
